In the last few years the concept of doing things by yourself – better known as DIY - has boomed like never before, especially in skateboarding. And Dickies as a work-inspired and skateboarding supporter brand, wants to clearly be part of it.

As in previous occasions, we partnered with Titus skateshop from Germany and traveled to the south of France with their team rider Ben Botta to bring the DIY culture to his hometown at the Côte d'Azur, by building some concrete modules to let the people and kids in that area have a better place to skate.

Even though governments are realizing the need of building more and better skateparks, DIY popularity is increasingly rising among maverick skaters all over the world, pushing them to find isolated places to create new skateable features and getting their hands dirty as a way of expression with wood, trash, concrete or any sort of material recyclable for this aim.

Thomas Prochaska, Julius Dittman, Dennis Scholz (photographer), Patrick Schwarz (filmer), Tom Kleinschmidt, Ben Botta and Guillaume Mocquin  took care of turning up this warehouse in the middle of nowhere (an old yacht park building completely abandoned with some crusty unskateable modules built by the locals in the past), into a new DIY spot, by fixing and rebuilding some quarterpipes, flatrails, kickers and banks.
