What is Dickies Temp-iQ™?

What is our advanced Temp-iQ technology?

This is temperature control workwear, designed especially for you to stay cool and dry all day long. 

It works by using wicking technology that traps cool air inside the yarn, quickly moving moisture away from the skin as you begin to sweat to keep you cool and dry. The moisture-wicking fabrics combine hydrophilic and hydrophobic fibres to draw perspiration away from the skin. That means that water-loving (hydrophilic) and water-repelling (hydrophobic) fabrics work together efficiently to both pull and push the different fibres to move sweat through the fabric.

When the sweat reaches the outer surface of the fabric, it evaporates - as if by magic! This prevents the sweat from soaking back into the clothes to ensure you stay dry. Quick-drying fabrics also mean that you stay comfortable for longer, and there’s no need to worry about sweat patches as you work.

As you begin to cool down, moisture will slowly evaporate, to ensure that you maintain an ideal body temperature. This smart sweat-wicking fabric knows what your body needs, and works with your body rather than against it to ensure that you can get the job done, whatever the weather throws at you.
