Earlier this year we teamed up with the Hackney Bumps Community Group to release a limited-edition product collaboration to raise money for the regeneration of the historic skatepark. Hackney Bumps is a shining example of what can be achieved at a grassroots level by a few people and a lot of hard work. This sentiment is at the very heart of the Dickies brand.
The skateboarding world has a historical relationship with Dickies, with references of skaters wearing Dickies as far back as the 80s. Skateboarding’s love of Dickies has grown organically over forty-something years.
Over the years, we've become the unofficial outfitters to musicians and music lovers everywhere. This didn't happen overnight; rather, it resulted from numerous pockets of culture within the music scene adopting the Dickies brand and putting their own spin on it.
